Please avoid including highly sensitive personal information in a question, dream description or reading request unless it is genuinely necessary for the service you have chosen.
1. Who we are
Apsis Psychics (“Apsis Psychics”, “Apsis”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides digital readings and reflective entertainment services through this website.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Apsis Psychics is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Questions or requests about your information can be submitted through our Contact page.
2. Personal information we collect
The information collected depends on the service you use. It may include:
- Identity information: your name and the names of other people you choose to include in a reading.
- Contact information: your email address and, where requested, your telephone number.
- Birth information: date of birth, birth time and birthplace where these are needed for horoscope, numerology, destiny matrix or star map services.
- Reading information: questions, selected areas of life, dream descriptions, selected tarot cards, compatibility details, follow-up questions and other context you provide.
- Order and transaction information: reading reference, service purchased, amount, currency, payment status and limited payment identifiers received from our payment provider.
- Communication information: messages and requests you send to us, including requests relating to a reading, payment or privacy right.
- Technical information: information ordinarily generated when you use a website, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs and security data.
- Usage information: pages or features used, errors encountered and interactions needed to operate and improve the website.
We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Card and payment details are entered into payment interfaces provided by Stripe and are handled by Stripe under its own privacy terms.
3. How we collect personal information
We collect information:
- directly from you when you complete a reading form, make a purchase, submit a question or contact us;
- automatically when your browser or device communicates with the website;
- from service providers involved in fulfilling a purchase or operating the website, such as payment confirmation from Stripe; and
- when a reading is generated, delivered, viewed or updated through our systems.
4. How and why we use your information
We may use personal information to:
- provide free previews and paid digital readings;
- calculate or personalise tarot, horoscope, dream, numerology, compatibility, destiny matrix, star map and lunar content;
- create and manage reading references and order records;
- process and verify payments;
- send purchased readings, receipts and service messages;
- answer questions and provide customer support;
- prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorised access and other security incidents;
- maintain, troubleshoot and improve our website and services;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory duties; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Depending on the circumstances, our lawful basis will usually be performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, compliance with a legal obligation, or your consent where consent is required.
Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. This will not affect processing that took place before consent was withdrawn.
5. AI-assisted readings and submitted content
Some readings and interpretations are created or enhanced using automated systems and artificial intelligence. Information you submit for a reading may therefore be sent securely to an AI service provider so that the requested content can be generated.
This may include your question, dream description, first name, birth details, selected cards or other relevant context. We aim to provide only the information reasonably needed to generate the requested reading.
Do not submit information about another person unless you are entitled to provide it. You should also avoid including medical records, legal documents, financial account details, passwords, government identification numbers or other highly sensitive information in a reading request.
Automated readings are provided for entertainment and personal reflection. Please also read our Entertainment Disclaimer.
7. International data transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate legal transfer mechanism or safeguard is used, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual protections.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing access to a purchased reading, responding to support requests, maintaining transaction records, resolving disputes and meeting legal, tax or accounting obligations.
Different records may be kept for different periods. For example, transaction and accounting records may need to be kept longer than temporary website logs. Information may also be anonymised so that it can no longer identify you, in which case it may be used for statistical or service-improvement purposes.
You may ask us to delete information associated with a reading. We will assess the request under applicable law and may retain limited records where there is a legal or legitimate reason to do so.
9. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information from accidental loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. These measures include restricted server-side access, protected credentials, reputable infrastructure providers and secure payment processing.
No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping any reading reference, device access and email account secure.
11. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to:
- request access to your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to erase information;
- ask us to restrict how information is used;
- object to certain processing;
- receive certain information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and
- ask for human involvement where a decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made solely by automated means.
These rights are not absolute and may not apply in every case. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We normally do not charge a fee, but may do so or decline a request where permitted by law, including where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
12. Age restriction
Apsis Psychics is intended only for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer the Services to children or intentionally collect personal information from anyone under 18. Please contact us if you believe a person under 18 has submitted personal information to the website.
13. Third-party websites
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control their privacy practices. You should review the relevant third party's privacy policy before providing information to it.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The revised version will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be amended. Material changes may also be highlighted elsewhere on the website where appropriate.
15. Contact and complaints
To ask a privacy question, exercise a data protection right or raise a concern, please use our Contact page. To help us locate the relevant information, include the email address and reading reference connected with your request where applicable.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first, but this does not affect your right to contact the ICO.
This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions, Refund Policy and Entertainment Disclaimer.
